I built one of the first web hosting companies on earth. Before that, I built one of the first ISPs on earth. Before that, I built the first virtual reality franchise on earth. That last one probably wasn't such a great idea :)
The point is that all my life, I've been not just an early adopter, but an early creator. I've spent my life on the leading, bleeding edge of Internet technology and business.
WHY, OH WHY, SHOULD YOU CARE?
Here's why. As I type, I'm a ripe, old 45 years of age. That's about 930 in Internet Years. Now, looking back at the list at the top of this page. Do you have accounts on each of these services? If so, have you completed your profile information on each? If so, do all of your profiles tell a consistent story about you? If so, are you telling the story of professional you, or personal you?
Online Persona, or Personal Brand management, is critically important to your career. Especially if you've been working in your field for 10 years or more. Your experience, know-how, and yes, your maturity, are tremendous assets for any employer. As long as you also know how to Tweet.
My newest company, Social Network Wizard™ is here to help. We'll can teach you how to roll up the personal and professional experience of a lifetime into a comprehensive "Online Persona." We call that Personal Brand Training.
Or, if you prefer, we'll do it all for you. We call that Personal Brand Management. Somehow or another, it's gotta get done.
